Sororities make girls feel worse about their bodies. Also, water is wet. -hendred

Comments

"Those women with higher body weights were more likely to drop out of the rush process and feel dissatisfied with it, even though those who dropped out were not overweight but simply less thin than those who joined the sorority."

A simple "Fatties Need Not Apply" warning before rush would nip this in the bud.

One of my favorite sorority girls once said "Having fat friends is social baggage." I also don't think this study included CMU.

You wish I had that much influence. I was a junior when that went down. Typically the buggy chair (Ambrose, Dipiazza) would be responsible for those relations.

Plus, they were bucking the study's trend regarding weight at the time.
