From Bean: But a good one, and appropriate for the day. READ BEFORE CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW: There are two identical pictures that will appear on the screen. Almost 8,000 people were tested to see if they could find the 3 differences in the two pictures and only 19 found all 3. There is a voice that comes on in a few seconds to give you hints so have your speakers turned on. See how observant you are. If you find all 3, you're one of very few people who are able to do this. From decker: This article describes the actions of a man who was TMQ's "Biggest Jerk in Sports for November," even though it was merely one week into the month. The commisioner of a youth football league fired the coach of a team because the coach played the commisioner's son on offense instead of defense for the last game of the regular season. The firing came just before the team was about to begin the playoffs, and the team forfeited out. This one has D-Baggery written all over it.

Sports Update Mon Nov 13 2006
All from decker: First, watch how Vince Carter's buzzer-beater limply bounces off the back of the rim into the basket. The new NBA ball is crazy. It's like the opposite of Super Happy Fun Ball. Second, Rutgers is the BCS computers' 2nd ranked team in college football. Factoring in the polls, they come up 6th in the total BCS rankings, however. The computer rankings are supposed to take into account strength of schedule, so how can Rutgers be ahead of Ohio State? Probably because OSU's best victory was against Texas, which lost again and is now below Louisville (the only "good" team that Rutgers has beaten)... who has only beaten WVU... who has only beaten Maryland... who has beaten only Clemson, which is only #25 in one poll. I wonder if the Big East teams have insolated their schedules so much from good teams that it's become difficult to even evaluate their SoS. Anyway, it's crazy, but I would love to see Rutgers somehow sneak its way into the championship game only to get blown out like the Giants would to the Mini Ditkas (this completes 2 SNL references for Will to recognize). My cat's breath smells like cat food. -ed

Is Dane Cook Funny? Somebody submitted this but didn't claim. The most interesting bit was the Jim Breuer bit at the front. I think Retaliation is funny. It's ridiculously funny. Tourgasm was horrible and his last HBO show was meh, as discussed before. I don't know about ripping off the bits from people (and it seems weird that if he ripped off Louis CK that Louis would turn around and go on Tourgasm), but don't rail on him if you haven't listened to Retaliation. I'd like to thank the Marriott for these delicious cashews.

SNOWBOARDING... I LIKE... Sun Nov 19 2006
From miolla: Gentlemen. Help a brotha out with making a decision on a new snowboard. I am trying to decide between the three board listed below and I have included my thoughts, likes and dislikes. If anyone has experience or suggestions, I'm wide open. I have been riding a Lib Tech Dark series 03' which I like a lot but it's time to do something new. I'll be riding the board for a few years so I'm trying to get it right. Lib Tech - Travis Rice 157 blunt w/ magne-traction
THOUGHTS:My BIL (brother-in-law) rides last years version of this and loves it. Won a 2006-07 good wood award. I like the blunt tip for the low swing weight because I'm a fat shit and need all the help I can get when it comes to spins. I dislike the fact that I can't get a 158 or 159. The size could be a hair small (not quite like the Wild Duck 149 I used to ride but that's another story...) Lib Tech - TRS 159 w/ magne-traction
THOUGHTS:This also won a good wood award and has the sweet magne-traction system that peeps are talking about. I like the size and stance location. I dislike the graphics (not really that important but it deserves to be acknowledged) and it is the most expensive of the lot. Lib Tech - Matt Cummins McKink 158
THOUGHTS:This is a sleeper as it's a small run deck offering from the snowboarding giant. There is a major x-factor with this deck. I used to ride the original version of this board back in 96' and it is my favorite all time deck. This updated version utilizes all the current technology and is the cheapest board listed. I dislike the lack of magne-traction (but maybe that's just in my mind at this point) and the possible limited availability if I don't purchase one soon. Finally, I'm probably just going to get the Burton Cartels but if people have suggestions on bindings, that would be awesome too. I ride Drakes now and they're nice but heavy. Rome? Newest Drakes? Tech Nine? Bent Metal? Lamar? (Not Lamars)
Too funny not to post Mon Nov 20 2006
From Bean: Public Service Announcement www.CleanButt.com You know how gmail has those web links towards the top of your page that often are very relative to your email conversations? (Which to me is a feature that, while quite innovative, creeps the shit out of me, but that's another topic altogether.) Well, this was the link at the top of my gmail inbox recently, so it really makes me wonder just what I've been discussing with people over email. But, in the end (no pun intended), I know of at least a few bhendrix.com readers that could make use of this. So, enjoy. And, possibly NSFW due to subject matter, but the images are harmless.

Anyone who sticks a lincoln log in their mouth deserves to turn purple. Those things taste nasty. The hazard group for toy 4 is "Excessively loud toys". Muy peligroso. Toy 5's hazard group is "strangulation"... which sounds awesome. If your kids asks you for a yo-yo ball, you might just wanna get him a ball gag and some assless chaps instead. Megapixels don't matter. Dude took a 13, 8 and 5Mp photo and blew them all up to 16x24. The only person that could tell the difference was a photography professor.
